Please check the utilization of microglia-containing brain organoids to understand how epilepsy-associated SCN2A-L1342P mutation affects microglial function in development.

The lab is excited to have received pilot grants from the Purdue Institute for Integrative Neuroscience (PIIN) to develop hiPSC brain organoids for studying Alzheimer's disease and Traumatic brain injury by collaborating with Dr. Chris Rochet, Dr. Riyi Shi and Dr. Jean Chmielewski at Purdue University.
