The lab is excited to have received pilot grants from the Purdue Institute for Integrative Neuroscience (PIIN) to develop hiPSC brain organoids for studying Alzheimer's disease and Traumatic brain injury by collaborating with Dr. Chris Rochet, Dr. Riyi Shi and Dr. Jean Chmielewski at Purdue University.

Showalter Young Investigator 2023
Congratulations to Dr. Ranjie Xu for being awarded the Showalter Trust Research Grant. This grant will support the study to dissect human microglial function in Alzheimer's disease using human iPSC-based microglia models.
